MTD OEM-738-04124 Snow Thrower Shear Pins

Shear pin kit OEM-738-04124 connects the auger to the rotating drive shaft. The shear pin is made of soft metal thatpurposely shears off or breaks to protect the transmission and motor if a foreign object or hard-packed snow bindsthe auger. The kit may include multiple parts; refer to your parts diagram for a complete list of parts included.
