It features an Airflow rating of 100 CFM and loudness rating of 1.5 Sones at 0.1 static pressure, as certified by the Home Ventilating Institute (HVI). HVI-Certification promises our fans are independently tested and rated by to ensure they deliver on promised performance. It consumes only 17-Watt, with an efficiency rating of 7.6 CFM per Watt at 0.1 in. static pressure. It features motor lock protection and self-compensating motor speed for the intended airflow, for when static pressure is encountered. Soft Start technology softly and quietly ramps the Brushless DC motor to top speed reducing bearing wear and prolonging fan life. It is UL and cUL listed for a tub/shower enclosure, when used with GFCI-protected branch circuit wiring.
